Strike has been settled and excitement has subsided a ongst workmen here end in Canton Unne. Civil enquiry into shooting strikes opened. Restrictions leaving colony removed: naval end military pre autions relaxed. There is no immediate cause for anxiety of serious disturbance arising here but in Canton Unne there is a sociclist and anti-British faction who will take advantage of any opportunity in the critical internal conditions of China to fament trouble in this colony.
